Coronavirus has spread and is continuing to spread around the world. The first case of the outbreak was reported in Wuhan, China is now spreading across the globe. So, keeping this in mind, major tech companies like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and others have announced that they will cancel their conferences for the safety of its people.
Mobile World Conference
It was the first large-scale event to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 concern. GSMS the body that organises the event has cancelled the show for the very first time.
Facebook F8 Developer Conference
The company in a statement revealed that it will not host the conference this year due to the health concerns. F8 is incredibly crucial even for Facebook but the social media giant wants to prioritize the health and safety of its citizens.
Google Cloud Next 2020
Google in a statement said that it will not plan any physical upcoming event for Cloud Next 2020 conference. The company has planned to stream keynotes and other online services for the event.
Microsoft MVP Global Summit
The brand has also planned to schedule an online-only event from March 16 to March 19.
Adobe Summit Event
The Summit/Imagine 2020 will not be an online event.
Intel Labs Day
The brand earlier tried to push the event to just 100 people but the decision has been made to completely cancel the event, given the recent COVID-19 outbreak.
Game Developers Conference
The event was supposed to take place from March 15 to March 20, but the event has been postponed with no set time.
