Women were spoilt of choice for edibles, luxury items, clothing, etc as brands go out of their way to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Online platforms tried to leverage this day by offering massive discounts on its products. Several irresistible discounts were ranging from 30-80 percent on ensembles, watches, bags, jewelry, and whatnot.
But women are not looking for only shopping, it could be a day to relax or to just take a break from monotonous chores, and would not mind whiling away their time at a fancy spa or beauty therapy.
‘I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights’. This is the theme for this year’s International Women’s Day, according to United Nations Women.
Discounts, offers, and campaigns are a good marketing strategy to increase sales and also to make women feel special.
However, this International Women’s Day 2020 and onwards, let us come forward to ensure women’s safety on roads, at the workplace, at shopping spaces, at home and everywhere else.
